🇨🇦 Monopoly Live Casinos in Canada
Monopoly LIVE is a collaboration between Evolution Gaming and the hugely popular iconic board game franchise, Monopoly.
It starts with the base idea of a giant segmented spinning wheel from their previous game Dream Catcher. Evolution then added a bucketload of cool special effects based on the classic Monopoly board, as well as two bonus rounds.
Players simply bet on the wheel segments they want, and the wheel is spun. The most common segment is 1, but there’s also 2 | 5 | 10 | Chance | 2 Rolls Bonus | 4 Rolls Bonus
Hit either of these ‘Rolls’ bonus rounds and a virtual Monopoly board will appear on screen. The players piece will then get that many dice rolls to move around the board – with prizes and multipliers going up the further you get.
If the dice come up on a double, you can move again. Get all the way round the board with moves to spare, and every space will receive a new and higher multiplier.
Hit the chance space to either receive a multiplier on the result of the next spin, or a cash prize. Hit a multiplier before a 4 rolls and you can potentially see some massive prizes come in!

🤵 Our Thoughts On Monopoly Live
- Amazing graphics with a top-tier licensed theme
- Hugely fun bonus rounds, with real dice rolls
- Potential for massive payouts
We absolutely loved Monopoly LIVE when it came out back in 2018. Since then, Evolution have released a few more live casino games that rival its production value and payout potential. However, Monopoly LIVE is still one of the best and most popular game show titles have put out so far.
The graphics are truly amazing, especially if its your first time playing. The bonus rounds are really something to behold, bringing you in to a fantastic fully 3D virtual recreation of a Monopoly board – complete with towering skyscrapers and other city features as the backdrop.
There’s a whole load of different spaces you can land on the board as well. These include Chance, Tax, Free Parking and more. Just don’t land on the jail, as you’ll miss out on one roll.
This makes every time you hit the bonus round extremely exciting, as you never quite now what you’re going to get!
The base game segments on Monopoly LIVE will never give you the biggest wins. The maximum is 10x your bet, which isn’t that much.
Bag yourself a 10x multiplier from a chance, and the largest base win becomes 100x. That’s allright, but nowhere near the biggest win from the bonus roll rounds.
So far, the biggest ever recorded win on Monopoly LIVE came when a 10x multiplier went into a four roll bonus game – and 3 doubles were rolled, for a total of 7 rolls. During those, the players landed on Mayfair and Park Lane (the two most expensive squares) twice!
The total highest win was therefore 2792x. Imagine getting another 10x on that, which is extremely unlikely but definitely possible, and you could see prizes of 27,000x or more.
Massive Monopoly LIVE wins like that are usually recorded once every 3 or 4 months, to give you some idea.
More usually 2 or 4 rolls will give you anywhere between 10x and 500x, which is still a decent prize by any means.
RTP (Return To Player)
The estimated RTP of Monopoly LIVE falls between 91% and 96%, depending on how much you bet and on what segments.
That fits it in about the same range as most jackpot slots, but not quite as good as live casino table games like blackjack, roulette, or baccarat.
It beats out Lightning Roulette but isn’t quite as good as Evolution’s newest game show extravaganza Crazy Time.
Monopoly LIVE is crazy fun to play – but those of you looking for the highest edge and consistent wins only should probably stick to Standard Blackjack or Lightning Baccarat.
Monopoly LIVE is probably the most popular and active game of all Evolution titles for Canadian players, although Crazy Time is now beginning to approach the same numbers.
This means there’s always plenty of people in chat, throwing things at the dealer to talk about.
You should know though, that this huge popularity also brings out some less than friendly fellow gamblers in the chat. They can be quite mean to the live hosts when rolls don’t come in for a while – although the hosts are very professional in ignoring most of it.
If you do want to chat nicely to the hosts, you’ll be unable to do so during the bonus rounds. Regardless, the live dealers maintain the high Evolution standard of professionalism and English speaking.
If you become a regular Monopoly LIVE player and you do talk to the dealers, you’ll definitely be remembered after just a few sessions.
Monopoly LIVE is a fast paced and simple to operate game which is good for mobile play. However, the graphics can be quite intense in the bonus rounds – so you’ll need a fairly modern device to play it on.
If you can run it though, everything is nicely optimized for mobile and tablet play.
As standard with Evolution, the betting interface can be maximized and the stream minimized if you’re on a slow or unstable connection while out and about.
There’s only six betting options anyway, so you’ll find it super easy to navigate even on a small screen.
❓ How Does Monopoly LIVE compare with other game show games?
The most direct comparisons for Monopoly LIVE are Evolution’s Dream Catcher and Crazy Time. It sits comfortably in between the two in terms of features and payouts.
Dream Catcher doesn’t have too many features, but the 20x and 40x segments mean the base game has a much higher average return.
Crazy Time has more features and higher potential payouts but doesn’t look quite as good (or have the massive licence) of Monopoly LIVE.
Treat this like a slightly lower payout jackpot slot game, rather than a strategic, small win affair like blackjack or roulette, and you’ll have a lot to enjoy with Monopoly LIVE.
It isn’t the best paying live casino game out there, but Monopoly LIVE is genuinely a buzz to play.
