🇨🇦 Safe Lightning Dice Casinos in Canada
Lightning Dice is the second game from the Lightning Series by Evolution Gaming.
The Lightning games add multiplier bonuses to your traditional casino games. In the case of Lightning Dice, this is a deceptively simple dice game.
Unlike in Evolution’s Super Sic Bo or the popular offline dice game for Canadian players, Craps, there are no complicated rules or betting table here.
Lightning Dice literally only lets you bet on what you think the sum total of the three dice might be.
They’re then theatrically rolled down a large Pachinko like device, and the results paid out. Super simple.
The kicker though, is the Lightning multipliers.
Each round, between one and all six of the most common outcome numbers, 8 to 13, will randomly receive up to a 50x bonus.
The less common numbers, such as 3, can see up to 1000x added by the super lightning special effects as well – but definitely not every round.

🤵 Our Thoughts On Lightning Roulette
We spent a long time playing Lightning Dice, and our overall conclusion is its an OK to good game.
It certainly looks great. The studio is decked out in the same unique art-deco steampunk style as the other Lightning series games like Lightning Roulette or Lightning Baccarat.
However, the potential for a random massive win is quite a lot lower here. That’s because the highest Lightning multiplier in the game (in this case 1000x) is only ever applied to the two most unlikely numbers to come up.
In Lightning Roulette, every straight up number has the same chance to hit as every other. In Lightning Baccarat, each of the 52 potential cards is just as likely to be drawn, and get a Lightning Multiplier, as any other.
Not so in Lightning Dice. The One and 18 scores have less than a 0.5% chance of occurring each round. And that’s without factoring in whether or not you get the Lightning multiplier on them.
Lightning Dice is a fun and simple game to play, but a big win never feels quite as close as in the other titles in the series.
The highest possible win here is 150,000x. That’s big by anyone’s standards. In fact, that’s the second highest potential of the three Lightning games. However, its very unlikely to come up more than once in every couple of hundred rounds.
On the other hand, there’s more room for consistent wins here than on Lightning Roulette, for example. Since the middle numbers are far more likely to come up in the results, the slightly smaller payouts can still be worth it.
Betting on a single straight up number in roulette is unlikely to ever give you reliable returns. However, doing so on Lightning Dice might actually net you a few 5x or 7x wins. Bag a 50x multiplier early in your session, and you’re laughing.
RTP (Return To Player)
Lightning Dice’s Theoretical RTP lies between 96.03% and 96.21%, depending on what exactly you’re betting on.
That’s higher than the relatively low RTP of Lightning Roulette, but slightly lower than Lightning Baccarat.
This puts Lightning Dice in around the same region as many jackpot slots, on a purely RTP level. However, those games offer huge jackpot prizes that go above and beyond the 150,000x highest prize here – unless you’re betting big money on every roll.
As with all Evolution Gaming titles, the dealers here are extremely professional and highly enthusiastic about their job. They also have cool costumes that fit with the Lightning décor too.
Although it’s a popular enough game, Lightning Dice usually has less players at any one time than Lightning Roulette, Monopoly LIVE or Crazy Time.
The game is also a lot simpler, with less actions and concentration required of the host.
Those two factors mean the live dealers have more time to interact with and reply to individual players, which is always nice.
Considering how simple the betting table on Lightning Dice, you should also have more time to talk to the dealer too – if that’s your thing.
Just like every other Evolution Gaming live casino title, Lightning Dice was made from the ground up for mobile play.
The betting table is super simple, so even on a small screen there will be plenty of space to make your choice.
The graphics and audio are also completely scalable, depending on the reliability and strength of your mobile connection. So you should never find yourself disconnecting in the middle of a bonus winning roll, or anything like that.
Of course, some of your experience will depend on what Canadian mobile casino you’re playing at. However, anything Evolution can do to make their end of your mobile gameplay better – they’ve no doubt done it.
❓ How Does Lightning Dice Compare?
Lightning Dice is a fairly simple game, especially compared to Lightning Roulette or Baccarat. Those two games have either a lot of rules, or a lot of different bet patterns to choose from.
Not so here.
Lightning Dice offers similar thrilling multipliers, and the same epic décor and theme as the other Lightning Games.
In terms of win potential, it’s somewhere between Lightning Roulette and Baccarat. You’re not as likely to get consistent wins with a strategy as roulette, but the overall RTP is actually higher.
For Canadian players that are really into live dice games though, we would also recommend you check out Evolution’s Super Sic Bo.
This similar title may not have 100,000x potential wins – but the ability to customize your bets to a larger extent may be an appeal to some.
